Spring time can vary greatly in temperature here in the UK. Consequently, layering is an important consideration. With the Noa Noa ladies Spring/Summer collections this is easy to do.
Camisole basics
Starting with the foundation garments Noa Noa has a choice of camisole style tops, including their Doriann basic organic pointelle top or the Lauran lace jersey version which can be worn layered under a blouse or light weight cotton knit for extra warmth. It is also useful under sheer fabrics when you don’t want to see a bra line.
Long sleeved tops
For something a little more substantial that could be layered under a dress or a short-sleeved shirt, why not try the Noa Noa Laurann lace long sleeved jersey blouse. It is essentially a lace turtle necked long-sleeved jersey top. The lace detail adds extra interest to the necklines of the dresses and are always available in colours to blend with the current and past seasons collections. If you prefer organic cotton, try the Midynn organic pointelle blouse with a feminine frill neck, which is also a great alternative.
You may wish to style a blouse or dress open, and wear it more like a jacket or a spring/summer coat. If so, the scoop necked Laurann long sleeved scoop neck jersey top with a pretty lace trim might suit your needs. Alternatively, if you prefer organic cotton, try the Noa Noa pointelle lace top, offered with long sleeves too.
Twinsets
Another great way of layering is to wear two fine layers together more like the old fashion ‘twinset’ idea. This season Noa Noa has the Louisann short sleeve pullovers which can be worn layered with the Louisiann cardigans in either matching or contrasting colours. They have some very intricate pattern detailing across the shoulder line which just gives that air of femininity to the pieces. Other cardigans to consider for the spring would be the Mollynn cotton cardigan with scalloped trim neck line and wider sleeves allowing for a slightly more room if the blouse or dress has fuller sleeve detail. It also has a matching short sleeved cotton jumper for those who like to layer up.
Jumpers
The trend for wearing over scale jumpers over dresses continues. With the sleeveless slipovers from Noa Noa proving a popular layering idea as they don’t create too much volume. Those who prefer a sleeve will prefer the Estellann 90% cotton, 10% cashmere mix pullover. Designed to be shorter at the front and longer at the back adds length to the leg at the front whilst covering the bottom at the back.
Waistcoats
Waistcoats are a great way of adding warmth and look stylish. The shorter cotton quilted version from Noa Noa work well teamed with a shirt or long sleeved top. It is ideal for those shorter in the body, whereas the longer quilted waistcoat with the tie waist works well for those taller ladies worn with a jumper underneath it.
Jackets
The organic cotton quilted jacket is a staple from Noa Noa and works well over shirts, jumpers, short waistcoats, the list is endless. It is a relaxed easy clothing item that will be worn for many years to come.
Spring coats
A firm Noa Noa favourite spring layer is the popular Emmann light coat. It can be worn in so many different ways! A great throw on over jeans at the weekend or cotton trousers for a smarter work look. It equally performs well over a dress or a skirt for a wedding. The relaxed tailoring of it, allows you to tuck a few light layers underneath to keep you warm if the temperature is still a bit chilly.
Made of 63% polyester, 33% viscose and 4% elastane, it is a fabulous investment which will keep on coming out of your wardrobe season after season. The lighter quilted coat options are also still very much on trend in lighter spring summer shades of blues and rose with a floral design from Noa Noa.
Finally, the trench coat is back and in the current seasons Noa Noa collection in a very wearable spring/summer beige tone. It has great versatility and can be worn styled with jeans, T-shirt and trainers or worn to elevate your look for business.
