With the sales coming to a close and the beginning of pre-Autumn collections coming into store it is exciting to see the new inspiration from the latest collection from Noa Noa. Travel is the theme for this season, with prints and colours inspired from all over the world.
A palette of a few strong colours of blue and green combined with some feminine reds and pinks. These are mixed with some familiar neutrals of black, cream and navy, together with some olive greens, pewter and brown. There is very much a 70’s revival in both some of the styles and patterns. Prints inspired from Japanese fans from the east, flowers from the orient, Persian paisley patterns and Mediterranean marble prints.
The focus as always is on feminine silhouettes, and classic suiting. Cosy knits and jackets that are perfect for layering. Fabric choices include light weight, soft cord for trousers, skirts and dresses/coats and pretty georgette for some of the dresses and blouses. Details on blouses include some delicate elastic shirring on cuffs and soft pleats on trousers and skirts. Whilst other pieces are incredibly well tailored, shirts with beautiful buttons at the neck and wrist combined with a well fitted pair of trousers to create a going back to work/classic dress style which is making a reappearance.
Keeping on trend wide legged denim jeans in light denim blue and black mixed with either a cotton jumper and T-shirt or pair with a signature blouse to create a far dressier look for evenings out or Sunday lunches.
Remembering the Scandi love of layering the Noa Noa basics will be coming into their own this season. With polo necks worn under summer dresses and leggings in either short, ¾ length or full length! Worn with boots to create a very comfortable day dress look pop a cardigan or quilted jacket over the top and your good to go!
